It was inevitable I suppose, with battles and bombs raging in the Middle East, that God Himself would seek out the international press to sound off on His views. And He did just that recently in this article:
"The archangel reported that the Almighty has become increasingly irritated with the vogue for politicians to claim that He is behind their policies - especially if these involve killing large numbers of humans"
Even here in the U.S., the President had to deal with questions and or fears concerning the Apocalypse.
Thank you for helping to spread MY WORD.
ReplyDeleteYou. Mr. Powell, will earn your place with the bunnies.
Wow, dude, you got a shout-out from the big man himself.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thanks for the link to the video clip at Crooks and Liars. I've been looking for it for a recent post of mine. It's remarkable to watch Bush's reaction to the question, and his inability to answer it directly is simply astounding.
When I saw this last week, I was incredulous.
ReplyDeleteCould it be that Bush uses people's faith and fears to get them to do his will and all of his religious beliefs are really on the surface instead of a true belief system?
Something to ponder.
My sarcasm isn't on top of it's game this early in the morning.
Bush is a menace.
I loved watching Jon Stewart's satire of him spewing & stammering trying to answer the 'Apocalypse'
ReplyDeletequestion in Cleveland. He knew he had to agree w/ it, to maintain his rightwingnut status, & knew on the other hand that he was going to look severely retarded. He chose the 'uh..uh..uh..' deer-in-the-headlight stance.
God Almighty.. strike him MUTE, if nothing else!
