How sad that all our civil rights are being plundered by this fear-based society.sandegayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03662992079161946269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15078815.post-1170200607536446992007-01-30T18:43:00.000-05:002007-01-30T18:43:00.000-05:00Joe, Joe, Joe, Have I got a story for you! Even though the principle did not smell it she had to endure a search of all her stuff and a pat down after being embarrassingly removed from art class (told to wash her hands and not to dump anything in as she did). We met with the principle and they say they can search a person like that for any "reasonable suspicion". And I get the feeling the hearsay was fabricated, just to welcome her to the hell of Be-afraid-of everything-High School. We have read the county policy and the greyness of reasonable suspicion astounds me. My daughter has only been going to this school for three weeks, she is a card carrying member of sXe movement and was terribly hurt by this, you can bet this daddy is raw about it too. The whole god damn country uses any reason to terrorize in fear of terrorism. Reminds me of that Kennedy quote "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself".Tennessee Jedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06754214529181108490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15078815.post-1170188891218697522007-01-30T15:28:00.000-05:002007-01-30T15:28:00.000-05:00it seems like back in my day they didn't have drug...it seems like back in my day they didn't have drug tests and we all made it out o.k. oh wait, we did have drug tests, they were held around the corner during lunch.
