You mentioned the great cast...the chemistry between Lopez and Clooney just smoulders.

this is one of the great overlooked movies of the last ten yrs, imo.

thanks for the reminder.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15078815.post-86723426502261974082007-03-31T03:39:00.000-04:002007-03-31T03:39:00.000-04:00All I hafta say is...I heart Don CheadleAll I hafta say is...
I heart Don CheadleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15078815.post-39108225091036531092007-03-30T23:25:00.000-04:002007-03-30T23:25:00.000-04:00I'm trying really hard to figure out whether or no...I'm trying really hard to figure out whether or not I care about the possibility of an X-Files sequel.

That was a heady love affair that ended so badly. But sometimes it's their use of simple techniques and new technology combined that just blow you away.
I was fascinated watching the behind the scenes stuff in "The Prestige" where Nolan shot everything hand-held - made for less time to set up lighting, more natural lighting, etc, but with the way he edited, it all looks very standard and not hand-held at all.

So yeah, overall, I think we're getting better stuff than we had after the 70s ended. And some of newest stuff from Eastwood and Scorsese ranks as the some of the best i've seen, but then almost all of their work has been remarkable.

Dang, I can talk about movies all day and never get tired of it!!Joe Powellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04326800254526438870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15078815.post-39779613536203302632007-03-30T15:06:00.000-04:002007-03-30T15:06:00.000-04:00Just saw "Children of Men" last night.
